Stars always and in all nations were regarded as symbols of cloudless sky. On the national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan there were depicted 12 stars, which are directly connected with our historical traditions, our ancient solar calendar. Honoring 12 stars we have linked to the development of scientific thought in the states that existed on the territory of present Uzbekistan.
